Brian McComak (mick-CO-muk) is a diversity & inclusion (D&I) consultant, speaker, author and facilitator with over 20 years of experience in D&I, HR, company culture, change management, internal communications, and employee experience. He is the founder and CEO of Hummingbird Humanity, a consulting firm that cultivates
and champions inclusive workplace cultures and human-centered leadership. Brian brings not only professionalism to this work, but his personal experiences as well- he is gay and a person with a disability. He openly shares these aspects of his life in service of his whole-hearted commitment to creating safe spaces for others.
Before starting Hummingbird Humanity, he was Global Head of Inclusion for Tapestry – the home of Coach, Kate Spade & Stuart Weitzman –
where he launched and designed the company’s D&I strategic roadmap.
He has held leadership roles at top tier companies that include The Walt Disney Company, L’Oreal, and Christie’s Auction House. His experience spans diverse industries including fashion/retail, hospitality, auction, entertainment/media and he has consulted with organizations in technology, financial services, media and the nonprofit sector.
